Appeal from a judgment of the superior court for Pierce county, Easterday, J., entered January 3, 1912, in favor of the plaintiff, after a trial on the merits before the court, in an action for an accounting.

The plaintiff, who was a member and an officer of the Home Grocery Company, a voluntary business association, brought this action against his co-members for the purpose of establishing a claim of $1,050, on account of money loaned and advanced by him to pay the debts of the association. The complaint prayed that the association be dissolved, its property sold, and the proceeds applied in payment of its indebtedness; that an accounting be had; that the plaintiff have judgment against the defendants, and each of them, for the amount due him, with interest; that, if any surplus remain after the…
