Craig Kerry appeals his convictions for attempted manslaughter, robbery, and aggravated battery; each charge included the discharge of a firearm causing great bodily harm ánd the use of a mask. Kerry raises five issues on appeal, only two of which merit discussion. Kerry submits that he is entitled to a new trial because the State introduced evidence of collateral crimes and failed to redact Kerry’s use of racial epithets in a recorded interview that was played for the jury.
