Van Dusen, P. J.,

Decedent made a will in 1906 and kept it in his desk until his death. As some of the legatees died he drew pencil lines through their legacies, This was effective as a *576“cancellation” of those legacies within section 20(a) of the Wills Aet of June 7, 1917, P. L. 403, and they dropped out of the will. The residuary clause (or rather an alternative residuary clause) in favor of the proponents was left intact, and the signature was left intact.
