William Hedges died intestate in Carroll County on the 28th day of December, 1928, leaving several surviving children, but no widow. The original bill was filed by two of the children against the others, asking a sale for partition of a tract of land of which it is alleged the said William A. Hedges was seized and possessed at the time of his death and which, it is asserted, passed to his children by descent.
