This action originated in the court of a Cook county justice of the peace and was tried de novo on appeal to the Circuit Court by the defendant, whose defenses were unavailing in both courts to prevent plaintiff from recovering his demand. This demand is for rent for the months of November and December, 1904, at thirty dollars per month, for the first floor of 2111 West Harrison street, Chicago, and both judgments were for sixty dollars.
