GRIFFIN, Circuit Judge.

Defendant Keith Lawhorn appeals his conviction, following a jury trial, of one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and ammunition in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 922(g)(1).- For the reasons that follow, we affirm.

On May 27, 2010, detectives from the Akron Police Department (“APD”) Narcotics Detail conducted a controlled purchase of heroin from defendant Lawhorn at the residence located at 1040 Hardesty Boulevard in Akron, Ohio.
