Appellant was charged in justice court with the offense of neglecting and refusing to support a minor son, aged nine years. From a conviction there, he appealed to the superior court, where he was tried by a jury, which found him guilty as charged, and from a judgment on the verdict and a sentence to serve six months in the county jail, he prosecutes this appeal.
The defense offered seems to be twofold.
