Debtor, Darnelle Boisrond, filed a voluntary petition for Chapter 7 bankruptcy on January 12, 2000, in the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Eastern District of New York (Milton, J.). On or about December 12, 2001, Robert L. Geltzer, the trustee of Boisrond’s estate, initiated adversary proceedings against the Universal Church (“the Church”) seeking to avoid transfers Boisrond had made to the Church.
