The College of the City of New York makes this application for an order of mandamus requiring the board of estimate and apportionment of the city of New York to revise the city budget for the year 1923 by increasing the appropriations for compensation of the faculty and employees of the college so as to comply with the salary schedules compiled by the trustees of the collfege and presented to the board pursuant to statute.
