This suit was brought in the District Court of Tom Green County, Texas, by Wm. M. Cramer, who will be designated plaintiff, against James Cornell as defendant, who will be given that designation here. The suit was upon a promissory note dated April 4, 1931, in the sum of $8500.00, payable in one year, with 8 per cent, interest from date.
