Plaintiffs sued on an alleged verbal agreement between James Bradshaw and Chester F. Knoll, acting for himself and as representative of James L. Knoll, Miss Ruth Knoll, and Miss Anna Knoll, owners of the plantation known as “Ellen Kay” and “Shirley,” situated in the parish of Avoyelles, for the purpose of incorporating the interests of said owners in said property. The petition alleged that the said Bradshaw under said agreement was- to assist said Chester F.
