11The plaintiff, Bell Foundry Company (hereafter “Bell”), filed a petition seeking payment from the defendant, Lonny McCurry’s Four Wheel Drive, Inc., t/a Skyjacker Suspensions (hereafter “Skyjacker”), of two outstanding invoices on an open account in the amount of $23,076.72 for orders of steering knuckles, plus payment of reasonable attorney fees recoverable under La. R.S. 9:2781. Skyjacker filed a reconventional demand for damages alleging that Bell wrongfully converted its property, namely, the patterns and tooling used to make the steering knuckles.
