| defendant, Tony Jackson, was convicted by a jury of armed robbery of the Olive Garden restaurant located in Lafayette, Louisiana, in violation of La.R.S. 14:64. After a sentencing hearing, Defendant was sentenced to fifty years at hard labor with fifteen years of the sentence to be served without the benefit of probation, parole, or suspension of sentence.
