MEMORANDUM OPINION
TILLEY, District Judge.
This appeal is from the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Middle District of North Carolina. Appellant, Aetna Life Insurance Company (Aetna), appeals the final decision of the Bankruptcy Court allowing the Debtor’s objection to Appellant’s proof of claim filed June 28, 1995.

Prior to January 1, 1995, Aetna had in force group life and health insurance for employees of Montaldo’s under policies which Montaldo’s acquired from Aetna. However, effective January 1, 1995, Mon-taldo’s canceled the Aetna policies and initiated a self-funded health…
