In 1810 Bazzell Maxwell died possessed of 200 acres of land, in Madison county, which had been for more than twenty years in the peaceable possession of himself and his father, who had devised it to him. In 1813, the County Court of Madision, by commissioners, assigned to *89the widow of B. Maxwell, who intermarried with D. B.
