This is an appeal from a judgment rendered in an action of debt on a judgment. The declaration is in the usual form in such cases, and alleges that at the July term, 1871, of the Superior Court of Cook County, the plaintiff (appellee) recovered judgment against the defendant (appellant) for the sum of $833.35 damages and costs, the costs amounting to $6.75; that the record of said judgment was destroyed by fire in October, 1871, and was not in existence at the time of the commencement of the suit.
