John O’Grady, while in the employ of the defendant company, was killed by an animal in the defendant’s *139yards, and the plaintiff, his widow, as administratrix of his estate, brought this action m the district court for Douglas county to recover damages on the alleged ground that the negligence of the defendant was the proximate cause of her husband’s death. From a verdict in her favor, the defendant has appealed.
