SIMS, J.

Appellant a probationary school teacher who was given notice pursuant to the provisions of section 13443 of the Education Code 1 that his services would not be required for the school year 1971-1972, has appealed from a judgment denying his petition for mandamus in which he sought review of proceedings taken under that section that had culminated in the board’s determination not to employ him for the ensuing school year.
