Three female employees appeal their dismissal from a lawsuit alleging discriminatory budget cuts by the East Baton Rouge Parish School Board (School Board). Donna M. Allen and Linda Marionneaux appeal their dismissal by the trial court’s grant of the School Board’s peremptory exception raising the objection of no right of action. Sarah Williams also appeals the trial court’s grant of the School Board’s peremptory exception raising the objection of prescription, which dismissed her claim. (Allen, Marionneaux, and Williams will be collectively referred to as appellants.)…
