delivered the opinion of the court:

Robert Reitman and his wife, the owners of a lot in the village of River Forest, brought a declaratory judgment action in the circuit court of Cook County to construe certain zoning provisions or, in the alternative, to declare them unconstitutional and void. Evidence was taken before a master, who recommended that relief be denied. The plaintiffs’ exceptions were sustained, and the report was disapproved.
