Appellants urged a reversal of this decree upon two grounds: first, that the surrender of the first certificate by Mi*. Johnson was void as against them; secondly, that Mrs. Yan Epps had no insurable interest in the life of Mr. Johnson and she conld not therefore become a beneficiary in the substituted certificate.
In support of the first proposition it is said by counsel in their brief, that the following points are conclusively established by the authorities cited, viz.:
