Skelly Oil Company brought suit against Globe Oil Company and Fort Dearborn Trust & Savings Bank and Frank M. Forrey, trustees, and others to compel specific performance of a contract it made with Globe Oil Company, to compel conveyance of clear title to the oil and gas leases involved. The Fort Dearborn Trust & Savings Bank and Frank M. Forrey, as mortgage trustees, filed cross-petition to foreclose their mortgage, a deed of trust, which covered the leases.
