Plaintiff’s intestate, an officer of the State Police, was killed as the result of a collision between his motorcycle and a car of the defendants. The defendants appeal from the denial by the court of their motion to set aside a verdict in favor of the plaintiff and for claimed errors in the charge of the court. There was evidence from which the jury could reasonably have found the following facts: The accident occurred in front of the Bascom Lodge, a roadside store in the town of Glastonbury on the east side of the New London turnpike.
