Following appropriate administrative proceedings, the Department of Real Estate of the State of California and Robert W. Karpe, Real Estate Commissioner of California (hereafter collectively and for convenience, Commissioner), imposed disciplinary sanctions upon Homeowners Loan Corporation (hereafter Homeowners) and certain individuals affiliated in one way or another with that corporation.
