OPINION OF THE COURT

Stein, J.

In this child sex abuse case, defendant has not established that he was denied the effective assistance of counsel. He has not demonstrated the absence of strategic or legitimate explanations for counsel’s failure to object to the admission of evidence that the victim disclosed the abuse three years after it ceased, and then again four years after her initial disclosure. Therefore, we affirm.
