STUART, Justice.

Defendant was convicted of receiving and concealing stolen property, Iowa Code, section 712.1, in Scott County District Court on March 8, 1967. In a separate hearing on March 20, 1967 the jury found defendant was a habitual criminal. He has appealed pro se.

Defendant claims the trial court erred in failing to sustain his motion for directed verdict. “In considering a motion for a directed verdict the evidence, of course, is to be viewed in the light most favorable to the party against whom the motion is directed.” State v.
