—Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Broome County (Smith, J.), rendered September 8, 2000, which revoked defendant’s probation and imposed a sentence of imprisonment.

In March 1999, defendant pleaded guilty to the crime of criminal contempt in the first degree and was sentenced to a term of probation. He violated certain of the probationary conditions when he was arrested in August 1999 on charges of criminal mischief in the fourth degree, harassment and unlawful possession of marihuana.
