This is a venue action which arose out of a damage suit filed by appellee, Hutchinson County, Texas, acting through its commissioners’ court, against appellant, C. M. Jeffries: Trucking Company, a corporation, for. alleged damages in the sum of $5,000., Appellee further alleged," in effect, that such damages were incurred on May 8, 1951, by reason of the negligent operation of appellant’s overloaded truck by its legal agent onto a wooden bridge that was visibly and obviously old and weak and caused the said bridge to collapse and become demolished under the weight of the…
