*24The plaintiffs in error brought an action of trespass against the Norfolk Bailway and Light Company, and their declaration states: That they were seized and possessed, as joint owners, of a certain lot of land, with the buildings and improvements thereon, situated on the west side of Cumberland street, in the city of Norfolk, Virginia; that the Norfolk Bailway and Light Company, a corporation organized under the laws of the State of Virginia, owned a certain lot in the city of Norfolk, fronting on Cove street; that the defendant had erected on this…
