This case came before the Supreme Court on Karyn Mumma’s petition for issuance of a writ of certiorari to review a final decree of the Appellate Division of the Workers’ Compensation Court (Appellate Division). The Appellate Division had affirmed a trial judge’s decision denying Ms. Mumma’s petition to reinstate the benefits she had been receiving as a result of her suitable alternative employment with her employer, Cumberland Farms, Inc.
