This is a bill for the specific performance of a contract to convey real estate lying wholly within the State of Arkansas. It is alleged in the bill, after stating the ownership of the real estate by Kate Greasley, one of the defendants, that on the 15th of March, 1887, she proposed to the complainant to convey the same to him, in consideration that he should “furnish the material and carpenter work to build a. frame house for the said Kate, on,” (describing the lot,) “in the town of McLeansboro;” that complainant took the proposition under advisement, and afterwards wrote and delivered the…
