Appellant Troy Brown was tried and convicted of sexually assaulting Jane Doe, a nine-year-old girl. Troy was convicted of two counts of sexual assault of a child under fourteen years of age, and one count of child abuse by sexual abuse. He was acquitted of one count of attempted murder.
