The defendant has been convicted of a misdemeanor for violating an order made by the fire commissioner of the city of New York, which required*him (the defendant) to install “ a separate and distinct system of automatic sprinklers ” upon his premises, used for manufacturing purposes, at Nos. 30-34 West Twenty-sixth street, borough of Manhattan.
