In a matrimonial action, inter alia, for equitable distribution of marital property following a foreign judgment of divorce, the defendant husband appeals, as limited by his brief, from so much of an order of the Supreme Court, Nassau County (Saladino, J.), dated July 11, 1989, as denied his cross motion to dismiss the complaint on the ground of collateral estoppel.

Ordered that the order is affirmed insofar as appealed from, with costs.
