Cross appeals from an amended judgment of the Supreme Court (Kahn, J.) ordering, inter alia, equitable distribution of the parties’ marital property, entered March 30, 1993 in Albany County, upon a decision of the court.
When the parties were married on December 28, 1968, defendant was a senior in college and plaintiff was employed as a nurse. Plaintiff continued in this employment until July 1969 when the parties’ first child was born. In the fall of 1969, defendant started law school.
