Pursuant to a September 10, 1999, indictment, Michael Lee Wilson was charged with theft of property in the first degree, a violation of § 13A-8-3(b), Ala.Code 1975. This charge is represented by Etowah Circuit Court case number CC-99-1029. Pursuant to an indictment returned on December 13, 1999, Wilson was charged with one count of burglary in the third degree, a violation of § 13A-7-7, Ala.Code 1975, and three counts of theft in the first degree, violations of § 13A-8-3(b), Ala.Code 1975.
