This action was originally brought to foreclose a lien acquired under a contract entered into on or about August 27, 1909, for a public improvement by the Robertson & Gerehart Contracting Company with the city of New York for regulating, grading and paving Bay Ridge parkway (Extension shore road), between Fourth avenue and Fort Hamilton avenue, in the borough of Brooklyn, city and state of New York. It appears that the said Robertson & Gerehart Contracting Company, which for the sake of brevity will be referred to hereafter as the contractor, also entered into other contracts with the city of…
