Appeal from an order of the Family Court of Otsego County (Coccoma, J.), entered May 25, 2005, which, inter alia, granted respondent’s application, in three proceedings pursuant to Family Ct Act article 6, for custody of the parties’ child.
Petitioner and respondent are the parents of a son (born in 2003). On or about August 16, 2004, respondent, the child’s father, left a note at petitioner’s place of employment notifying her that he was moving out of the trailer where they resided in the Town of Otego, Otsego County, taking the child with him, and filing for custody.
