JORDAN, Circuit Judge:

Generally speaking, the doctrine of equitable mootness "permits courts sitting in bankruptcy appeals to dismiss challenges (typically to confirmation plans) when effective relief would be impossible." Ullrich v. Welt (In re Nica Holdings, Inc.) , 810 F.3d 781 , 786 (11th Cir. 2015). We have applied the doctrine in the Chapter 11 reorganization context, see, e.g., First Union Real Estate Equity & Mortg. Invs. v. Club Assocs.
