The appellees as complainants filed a hiI; in chancery in the Circuit Court for Hillsborough county in which it is alleged, that on April 30th, 1891, the complainants being indebted to the defendant in the sum of nfteen hundred dollars made and jointly signed a promissory note to defendant in the sum of fifteen hundred dolly rs with interest at eight per cent, per annum for live a ears, and jointly executed a mortgage on certain real estate, the separate property of the complainant Eloisa B. de Wilson, to secure the payment of the note; that on November 30th, 1899, the defendant…
