— Appeal from a judgment of the County Court of Montgomery County (White, J.), rendered August 18, 1981, upon a verdict convicting defendant of the crimes of attempted murder in the second degree, assault in the second degree, and criminal mischief in the fourth degree. The charges against defendant stem from an incident occurring on August 15,1979. About 2:30 p.m. the previous day, the 15-year-old victim was abducted at knifepoint in Fulton County.
