MEMORANDUM OPINION

DIAMOND, District Judge.

Plaintiff has moved to remand this personal injury action to state court, arguing that it does not meet the $75,000 federal jurisdictional threshold because, as stated in his Complaint, he seeks damages of less than $50,000. (Doc. No. 4~) Because state law allows Plaintiff to recover more than $50,000, however, and because the record shows that Plaintiffs damages could well exceed $75,000, I conclude that the “amount in controversy” meets the jurisdictional threshold. Accordingly, I mil deny Plaintiffs Motion to Remand.
