hThe State of Louisiana charged Edward Williams by bill of information with one count of violating La. R.S. 40:967(0(2), possession of cocaine. The defendant appeared before the trial court for arraignment and pled not guilty to the charge. On March 11, 2009, the trial court heard the defendant’s motion to suppress the evidence and motion to suppress statement and held a preliminary hearing.
