Procedural and Substantive Facts
On June 14, 2005, the trial court entered a judgment divorcing S.A.N. (“the mother”) and S.E.N. (“the father”). The judgment awarded custody of the parties’ two children to the mother, awarded the father certain visitation rights, including overnight visitation, and ordered the father to pay child support. On December 11, 2006, the father filed a petition seeking modification of the child-support provisions of the divorce judgment, as well as a judgment holding the mother in contempt for failing to abide by the visitation provisions of the divorce…
