for the Court:
¶ 1. In 2008, Marcus Vaughn pleaded guilty in the Tunica County Circuit Court to one count of manslaughter and one count of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon. For the manslaughter conviction, the circuit court sentenced him as a habitual offender to twenty years in the custody of the Mississippi Department of Corrections (MDOC). The circuit court also sentenced him to ten years in the custody of the MDOC for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, with the sentence to run consecutively to his twenty-year sentence for manslaughter.
