The accused were charged, arraigned, tried, convicted, and sentenced for violating the provisions of Act No. 43 of 1912, an act ho define and punish the crime commonly known as the confidence game and to prescribe the manner in which the crime shall be charged in the information or indictment. From the conviction and sentence both defendants appealed.
