Harriett Fischer, individually and as executor of the Estate of Harry Fischer (“appellant”), sued Tenet Hospitals, Limited d/b/a Doctors Hospital and Horizon/CMS Healthcare Corporation, Inc. d/b/a Doctors Healthcare Center (“appel-lees”) for medical malpractice. The trial court dismissed appellant’s claim for failure to provide an expert report that met the requirements of the Medical Liability and Insurance Improvement Act, Tex.Rev. Civ. Stat.
