A jury found the defendant, Bonnie Jean Foreshaw, guilty of murder in violation of General Statutes § 53a-54a (a),1 of carrying a pistol without a permit in violation of General Statutes § 29-35,2 and of tampering with physical evidence in violation of General Statutes § 53a-155 (a) (l).3 The trial court thereupon sentenced her to a total effective sentence of forty-five years incarceration.
