This is an appeal from a judgment rendered in a court-tried case, wherein the Civic Plaza National Bank of Kansas City (hereinafter called “Civic Plaza Bank”) was plaintiff and University Nursing Home, Inc. (hereinafter called “Nursing Home”), Chester B. Kaplan (hereinafter called “Kaplan”) and others, were named as defendants. These other defendants, University Motel, Inc.
