This is an action brought by the secretary of Social and Rehabilitation Services (SRS) to recover from a father payments made to support his three minor children under the federal program for Aid and Services to Needy Families with Children (AFDC). The defendant in the action is Anthony J. Castro, husband of Theda Castro and father of three minor children. The evidentiary record in the case is rather sparse.
